Fundacja Dookoła is a foundation based in Maszewo, in Poland’s West Pomerania region. We work to preserve local heritage and bring people together through culture, education and practical action.
Młyn nad Wodą — the mill by the water
We are working to restore a historic mill in Maszewo and gradually bring it back into community life. Our aim is to create a place for cultural events, learning, traditional crafts and meetings. The restoration is ongoing.
What we do
- Preserve historic buildings and document local history.
- Help organise concerts, artistic events and community initiatives.
- Develop educational activities and opportunities to share craft skills.
- Collect and study archival sources about Maszewo and the surrounding region.
We also take part as a partner in archaeological research at Góra Zamkowa (Castle Hill) in Maszewo, alongside the research team and other participants.
